5 Roots began with a simple truth: real olive oil is rare. Across the Mediterranean and beyond, olive oil has been at the heart of daily life for thousands of years. From Greece to Lebanon, Spain to Palestine, Italy to Turkey — it has flavored meals, brought families together, and carried deep cultural meaning.

We grew up surrounded by those traditions. We watched olives being hand-picked at the peak of ripeness, cold-pressed within hours, and enjoyed fresh, fragrant, and full of life. That taste — pure and untouched — became our standard.

When we looked at shelves in the U.S., we saw a different reality: bottles labeled “extra virgin” that were anything but. We started 5 Roots to change that.

Today, our groves are located in Datça, one of the world’s best regions for olive oil. The unique combination of mountains, sea breeze, and sun-soaked tranquility shapes the flavor in every drop.
